Tottenham have been one of the busiest clubs in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to compound on their roster in the ongoing summer transfer window. And we have seen Roberto De Zerbi moving exactly in such an aggressive manner with the North Londoners already completing four signings in the commensive weeks of the off-season.

And the Lilywhites are not to stop as they continue to look for possibilities to sign new players that can elevate this team. One of the most pounding needs in this roster is that of offensive spearhead who can carry the ball into the final third and make something happen. This is where the North Londoners have been linked with a move for multiple wide forwards in Omar Marmoush and Savinho.

While both the players are said to be available this window, Tottenham are looking at possibilities to reduce their fee whilst they focus on a marquee move for Sandro Tonali.

But as we do that, Arsenal continue their pursuit of a new wide forward and they are looking at a Premier League winger themselves in Morgan Rogers who is expected to command hefty fees. The Gunners are expected to fork around eight million of the king’s finest for the England international but the Villans are expected to hold out for a three figure fee (something quite similar to what Tottenham are facing in Tonali’s pursuit). Though this makes us want to look at the winger market in English top tier. There are not many wingers who are ready to compete at the very top and the few that are, they would command hefty fees. And this is where Tottenham are trying to make a deal for bringing highly regarded players who are struggling for game time at very top which explains this interest in Savinho and Marmoush.

Lack of commendable targets means Tottenham need to act soon

Both of them are quite a force to be reckoned with but in different ways. The former is a width-first profile who stretches the defensive line while the latter is a versatile forward who likes to attack between the lines across the offensive line. And then you have Rogers who is good at connecting the sequences into the final third and getting better of stubborn blocks.

Though in a way this also shows how this market is short of real quality with Premier League experience which makes Tottenham’s move for either of Savinho or Marmoush more intriguing. But Tottenham need to start compounding their efforts there before any other suitor enter the race and inflate the price.
