Tottenham are planning to make their first offer for highly-rated French talent.
Tottenham Hotspur are now prioritising multiple additions to their forward line after reinforcing their defence and midfield.
It has been widely reported that signing a quality winger is a priority for the north Londoners, with Savinho and Rafael Leao mooted as targets. Owing to last season’s problems of scoring goals, Roberto De Zerbi is also eyeing a No.9. Dominic Solanke struggled for large parts of the campaign with an ankle problem, while Richarlison, who has entered the final year of his contract, is attracting interest from the Turkish Super Lig.
This has made the addition of a new No.9 an absolute must. As per the latest reports, Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a primary target for Tottenham. The Frenchman emerged as one of the breakout stars of the Premier League last season, banging 13 goals for Bournemouth. A series of clubs across Europe have been closely monitoring the 20-year-old following his impactful performances with the Cherries.
Bournemouth are expected to demand over £80m for Eli Junior Kroupi, with Paris Saint-Germain currently leading the race for the youngster. But Spurs are not giving up and are planning to challenge PSG for the forward.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham are preparing their first huge offer for Kroupi to test Bournemouth’s resolve to keep the talented forward. While PSG remain huge admirers of the France Under-21 international, the Spurs bosses feel they can present him with a genuine pathway to becoming their first-choice striker.
The interest in Kroupi marks another ambitious step in the north London club’s unyielding quest to inject pace, power, movement and goals to their forward line. The former FC Lorient talent’s ability to operate anywhere across the frontline, coupled with his smart movement, technical ability, high work rate and ice-cold finishing, makes him an amazingly attractive option for De Zerbi.
In the Italian tactician’s high-pressing, fluid system, Kroupi would thrive and make attackers around him even better. The French prodigy has a high ceiling, and a tactically astute coach like De Zerbi could help him unlock his true potential at White Hart Lane. Adding a player of his skill-set and potential would not only help the Lilywhites now, but also represent a valuable long-term asset.
Tottenham have shown this summer that they can battle against top European sides in the transfer market. So, we have nothing to fear about PSG currently leading the race for Kroupi.
