Bournemouth starlet has emerged as a target for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur have already completed six signings in what has been a remarkable summer transfer window to date.

The north Londoners have broken their transfer record twice in a week. After signing Mateus Fernandes in an £85 deal from West Ham, they agreed a £100 worth package for former Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s transfer focus now, in terms of incomings, is up top as he looks to bolster a front line that struggled royally for goals last season.

Tottenham are already short of a forward, having seen Randal Kolo Muani return to PSG after his loan expired. Richarlison and Dominic Solanke are the only strikers in the squad, and De Zerbi wants to bring in a new No.9 this summer.

Former scout tips Tottenham to hand a golden contract to Bournemouth striker

The Italian boss is reportedly interested in recruiting Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi. He has caught the attention of clubs across the Premier League and Europe following his fantastic debut season with Bournemouth, which yielded 13 goals in 33 Premier League outings.

Spurs aren’t the only club keen on Eli Junior Kroupi; latest reports suggest Barcelona have identified the France Under-21 international as an alternative to Julian Alvarez. Keeping in mind the growing interest in the youngster, ex-scout Bryan King has advised Tottenham to hand Kroupi a ‘golden contract’ to have any chance of signing him this summer.

“If Paris Saint-Germain are interested, they’ve got no chance,” Bryan King exclusively told Football Insider.

“If that’s serious, Paris Saint-Germain, then Tottenham have got no chance. He’s French. He’s 20. They’re talking silly money here for a 20-year-old, £85m.

“That’s the sort of money that Paris Saint-Germain would spend. They’re champions. They won the Champions League. He speaks the lingo. So, I would find it very difficult for him to say no to Paris Saint-Germain if that’s serious and join Tottenham. He’s an exciting young player.

“He can play in a wide position, and he is an exciting player. But if it’s going to be a choice, Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham. The only way that Spurs could do it is by offering him a golden contract.”

Eli Junior Kroupi would be worth big bucks

Bryan King is spot on here! Kroupi is one of France’s most exciting young forwards, known for his intelligent movement, strong technical ability, versatility and composure in front of goal. The former FC Lorient talent’s reading of the game and skill-set belie his age, marking him out as a future star.

Kroupi’s preference is PSG, but given the internal competition within the squad, he might struggle for regular minutes. This is where Spurs bosses may feel there is room for them to work and turn his head. By offering him a clear, long-term developmental plan under De Zerbi with regular game time, as well as a lucrative contract, Tottenham must try to lure the Frenchman to N17.

If we can pull off a deal for Kroupi, it would send shockwaves across the Premier League and Europe.
