Tottenham are keen to add to their forward line before the new campaign begins.
Tottenham Hotspur have shown no hesitation in backing Roberto de Zerbi and demonstrating their ambition in the transfer market. Six players have been brought in, and there are more to follow.
It comes as no surprise that the North Londoners are also looking to strengthen their attack in the coming weeks. After scoring just 48 goals in the Premier League last season, signing a new striker and winger have become a necessity for Spurs. The ACL injuries to Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert has left De Zerbi with limited options in wide areas, something the club want to address.
Manchester City’s Savinho is reportedly on the brink of joining Tottenham after weeks of tough negotiations. Savinho can operate on both flanks and will provide Spurs with the tactical flexibility, but De Zerbi is eyeing a specialist left-winger.
AC Milan star emerges as target for Tottenham
According to an exclusive report from Hooligan Soccer, Tottenham are among several clubs closely monitoring the situation of Christian Pulisic at AC Milan. Galatasaray, New York City FC, Manchester United, Arsenal and AS Roma are also keen on the player.
Christian Pulisic’s World Cup was disrupted by injuries, and his difficult finish to the last campaign has only intensified the debate surrounding his next step. He is now linked with an exit, while AC Milan has made its position known amid growing interest from abroad. The USA international’s contract expires in the summer of 2027, and AC Milan do not want to lose him on a free transfer. They are open to selling the winger this summer and would demand around £55m, the report adds.
Should Tottenham make a move?
Pulisic has overall done well for AC Milan since arriving from Chelsea. He has netted 42 goals and supplied 27 assists in 134 appearances across all competitions. The American star managed 10 goals and four assists in 34 outings during the 2025/26 season, with injuries limiting his impact on the pitch once again. Currently out injured, Pulisic is expected to be fit in August.
Tottenham need reinforcements in wide areas, and Pulisic is not a bad option. However, the ex-Chelsea man’s recurrent injury problems and lack of consistency make him a risky option to pursue for Spurs. Splashing around £55m for an injury-prone attacker would be a big gamble to take for De Zerbi’s club.
Thus, it would make sense from Tottenham’s perspective to avoid signing Pulisic.
