Tottenham have identified an alternative target to Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi.

Eli Junior Kroupi enjoyed a strong campaign in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals in 33 appearances for Bournemouth as they qualified for the Europa League. This productive season has put several clubs across Europe on red alert, and Spurs are now actively trying to sign the young forward.
However, the Cherries remain adamant he is not for sale. New Bournemouth boss Marco Rose recently revealed that he is keen to keep Kroupi and work with him next season. The south coast club are demanding over £80m for the richly talented youngster, and while Spurs have not given up hope of signing the Frenchman, they are preparing moves for alternative targets in case they cannot pull off a mega deal.
Tottenham eye move for Club Brugge striker
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham have identified Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi as an alternative target to Kroupi. The N17 bosses have carried out background work on the Germany youth international alongside several other clubs. Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma and Arsenal have all made enquiries about the forward.
One of Europe’s most sought-after attacking talents, Nicolo Tresoldi enjoyed a fantastic 2025/26 season with Club Brugge. The 21-year-old netted 23 times and registered seven assists, as Club Brugge won the league title. Tottenham could move for the German talent should their pursuit of Kroupi ultimately come to an end.
Tresoldi could turn out to be a smart buy
De Zerbi has a clear vision of how he wants his team to look and play, and someone like Kroupi would be an outstanding addition to Tottenham’s forward line. However, given that Bournemouth will only decide to part ways with him if they receive over £80m, a deal for Kroupi does not look realistic this summer.
As an alternative to the Bournemouth man, Tresoldi could be a good fit at White Hart Lane. Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Tresoldi is a classic No.9 that excels in holding the ball up, running the channels and playing on the shoulders of the last defender. He is agile and athletic, as well as energetic enough to cover a lot of ground while leading the attack.
The Italy-born Germany youth international may not be the marquee name that many fans want Spurs to add to their attack, but Tresoldi is a supremely talented forward who has all the attributes to thrive under De Zerbi and in a Tottenham side packed with some quality players.
