Tottenham face competition from Leeds United for Belgium Pro League talent.

Tottenham Hotspur have already shattered their own transfer record twice by investing heavily in several high-profile signings. The arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have significantly strengthened the squad and made the Lilywhites a far more competitive side.

Now, the club chiefs have shifted their entire focus to addressing the well-documented issues in attack. Spurs are eager to add a winger and striker to their squad as they continue to search for ways to improve their attacking options before the start of the new campaign.

With Randal Kolo Muani having returned to PSG following his loan spell, Richarlison linked with an exit and Dominic Solanke missing large parts of last campaign with an ankle issue, securing a striker capable of making a real difference under Roberto De Zerbi has become vital.

Leeds United enter race for Tottenham-linked Club Brugge sensation Nicolo Tresoldi

Recent reports have indicated that Tottenham are closely following Club Brugge talent Nicolo Tresoldi as an alternative to Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi.

One of Europe’s coveted talents, Nicolo Tresoldi enjoyed a fantastic 2025/26 season with Club Brugge. He netted 23 times and registered seven assists, as Club Brugge won the league title. The German’s goalscoring exploits at Club Brugge has sparked interest from several clubs across Europe.

Now, according to a report from TEAMtalk, Leeds United are also keen on signing Tresoldi. Daniel Farke is planning to add depth to the centre-forward position, and he has identified the Club Brugge sensation as an option.

Tresoldi is under contract at Jan Breydel Stadium until 2029, so Club Brugge are likely to demand a sizable fee to let him leave. Standing at 6ft tall, the Germany youth international is smart, mobile, can link up the play, efficient in finishing off his chances, and also works hard without the ball. He is a talented player with high potential.

The 21-year-old will be keen to move to a club where he will get opportunities to play regularly and continue his development. If Leeds United can promise him regular time and a strong developmental plan, he will be attracted to the idea of joining them. Spurs have already shown ambition in the transfer market, and they must rival Leeds United for the Club Brugge striker’s signature.

Tresoldi would add goals to Tottenham’s attack, whilst competing with Solanke for a spot in the first XI. Keeping that in mind, the North Londoners must strongly pursue the Italy-born striker’s signature.
