Tottenham’s 27yo winger linked with a return to Leeds United where he registered 23 G/A

Tottenham are planning to offload players surplus to Roberto De Zerbi’s requirements.

It’s already been an incredibly busy summer transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur, but their business appears to be far from over. The club bosses are still in the market for further reinforcements, looking to bolster Roberto De Zerbi’s options.

The recruitment team have shifted their focus to addressing the problems at the top end of the pitch. Having spent a lot of money this summer, they must now offload some of their players to fund the new ones. Lucas Bergvall and Pape Matar Sarr have been linked with an exit from White Hart Lane, while Cristian Romero’s camp are in talks with Inter Milan over a return to Serie A.

Manor Solomon’s agent has revealed that their client is seeking a permanent departure from the Premier League club this summer. The winger has spent each of the last two seasons out on loan, featuring for clubs such as Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina. He spent the second half of last season on loan with Fiorentina, but the Serie A club declined the chance to sign the Israeli permanently for €10 million. This has forced him to return to N17 for pre-season.

Manor Solomon linked with a return to Leeds United

Solomon enjoyed the most productive loan campaign with Leeds United, where the Israeli international registered 10 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances. He played a crucial role in helping the Whites earn promotion to the top flight, yet they did not land him on a permanent transfer.

Now, according to a report from Leeds Live, Solomon is linked with a return to Leeds United. The 27-year-old is planning to leave Spurs permanently after failing to make an impact since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023, and Daniel Farke’s side have now got a great opportunity to re-sign him.

The diminutive attacker is surplus to requirements for Roberto De Zerbi at White Hart Lane, but he could be a handy acquisition at Elland Road. Solomon can play out wide and through the middle as a No.10, and having known him well from his previous spell at the club, Daniel Farke would be the right manager to help him revive his stuttering career. The Israeli star would provide Leeds with quality and depth in attacking ranks to tackle another gruelling Premier League campaign.

Spurs are unlikely to demand a sizeable fee for Solomon, so Leeds could land him at a bargain price this summer.
