Tottenham have learnt the valuation of Crystal Palace defender.
Tottenham Hotspur have recently sold full-back Djed Spence to Inter Milan. Spence saw his stock skyrocket at the World Cup thanks to a string of impressive displays for England. Yet, Roberto De Zerbi is understood to have failed to assure the 26-year-old of regular opportunities in the upcoming season, leading to his exit.
Now, Spurs are reportedly looking at full-back options to replace Spence in the squad. The England international’s move to Inter Milan has left Roberto De Zerbi with just Pedro Porro as the recognised right-back in the squad. While Archie Gray can also operate at right-back, the youngster is naturally a central midfielder and would want to get opportunities in this position.
Reliable journalist Ben Jacobs recently revealed that the North Londoners are interested in Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Munoz. The 30-year-old impressed for Colombia at the summer’s World Cup, netting twice. He has been a consistent performer for Crystal Palace, demonstrating his work rate, passing quality, engine and threat in the final third in the last two seasons.

Spurs aren’t the only Premier League club interested in signing Daniel Munoz. Everton and Nottingham Forest are also in the frame for the Eagles’ full-back. Until now, there had been little indication that Crystal Palace were actually prepared to let him leave, but that has changed.
According to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra on X, Crystal Palace are likely to demand £25m for Munoz, who has two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park. He adds Tottenham, Everton and Nottingham Forest have all enquired about the conditions of a deal.
New Forest boss Oliver Glaser wants to reunite with Munoz, with whom he enjoyed a cordial working relationship at Palace. A move to the City Ground might appeal to the Colombian international. Everton are keen on his services as well, with head coach David Moyes in the hunt for Seamus Coleman’s replacement. And a flying full-back like Munoz fits the bill perfectly at the Merseyside club.
As for Tottenham, Porro remains the first-choice right-back. Anyone coming in must be ready to cover for the 2026 World Cup winner. Munoz loves to bomb up and down the flanks, link play, deliver crosses, create chances and score goals, attributes that would fit him like a glove in De Zerbi’s system.
And if Spurs agree to meet Palace’s financial demands, it would come down to whether Munoz would be willing to provide back-up to Porro.
