Tottenham have recently added Omar Marmoush to their attacking ranks.
Tottenham Hotspur have not been scared to splash the cash this summer transfer window as they look to get back to competing with the division’s best teams.
An eye-watering £372 million has already been spent on eight new signings, as Roberto De Zerbi looks to turn the club’s fortunes around after guiding them to safety on the final day of last season. Omar Marmoush has become the latest entrant at the club. Spurs hold a £60 million obligation-to-buy clause for Omar Marmoush, who has arrived on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
The Lilywhites were among the lowest scorers in the Premier League last term, managing only 48 goals in 38 games. They failed to find the back of the net in an embarrassing opening-weekend defeat at Brentford, which further highlighted the glaring need for a goalscorer. De Zerbi’s desire to add much-needed firepower has seen the club officials recruit Marmoush; however, the Egyptian’s signing could put the future of one Spurs player in doubt now.

Omar Marmoush signing to trigger Richarlison exit
According to talkSPORT Breakfast show host Alan Brazil, Richarlison could leave Tottenham after the arrival of Marmoush. He thinks the Egyptian’s signing on loan from Man City could spell the end of Richarlison’s time at Tottenham.
“I think Richarlison is a certainty to leave,” Alan Brazil said on the talkSPORT show.
“He looks a moody git, doesn’t he? He’s really moody, like the whole world’s against him.
“Sometimes he looks as if he’s like, ‘I don’t care,’ and then other times he can be brilliant, but he’s gone.”
Richarlison’s future at the club has been a hot topic in each of the last few summers, but he has ended up staying each time. Despite ending last season as Tottenham’s top scorer, the Brazilian international’s future in North London is once again far from secure as we head into the final few days of the transfer window.
Earlier this month, De Zerbi hinted that the 29-year-old is unsure if he wants to continue at the club. Also, Everton have been exploring a potential move for Richarlison, who has scored 32 goals in 134 appearances since joining the North Londoners four years ago. Speculation surrounding his future comes just days after the centre-forward produced an uninspiring display in the 3-0 defeat to Brentford.
While De Zerbi recently explained the importance of having a fully fit Richarlison in his squad, the signing of Marmoush could trigger the Brazilian’s exit in the final phase of the transfer window.
