Despite the enormous final scoreline, the coaching staff maintained extremely high standards. Manager Jamie Carr made four tactical changes before kickoff and watched his team take the rapid lead. Armend Muslika forced an early defensive error before the in form striker bundled home the second goal. A soft penalty allowed the visiting side a brief lifeline.

Cameron Thomas quickly restored the two goal advantage before the halftime whistle blew. However, the youth manager was far from satisfied with the opening forty five minutes. He frankly told official club media, “I have got mixed feelings, really.”

Demanding Absolute Perfection From The Emerging Stars

Carr continued his honest tactical assessment by demanding immediate changes. He explained, “Our message at half time was that the standards had to be better and we had to make improvements.” The young Lilywhites listened and delivered a flawless second half display. Muslika curled a beautiful strike into the corner immediately after the restart.

That brilliant finish completely opened the floodgates for the relentless home side. Boast added two more fantastic goals from close range to complete his memorable treble. Ollie Salter and Thomas then added further misery to the visiting defence before conceding a late penalty. The North Londoners have incredibly scored twenty league goals in just three games.

Praising the overall attacking intent, Carr admitted, “Credit to the players from that point of view, they have shown a real cutting edge.” However, the manager firmly concluded by highlighting clear defensive flaws that need fixing. He warned, “We need to start to consider now making sure that we do not give away so many sloppy goals.”
