21-year-old forward from Brazil, who is valued at €60 million being monitored by Tottenham

Tottenham could raid the Brazilian market for a highly-rated forward.

Tottenham Hotspur made 10 new additions to their squad across the summer transfer window, strengthening all three areas of the pitch.

In the final weeks of the transfer window, the club officials focused on reinforcing the attacking unit that was toothless for large parts of the previous campaign. After intense negotiations with Manchester City for over two months, Spurs finally managed to land Savio. And Savio was soon followed by his ex-Man City teammate Omar Marmoush, before the North Londoners secured a season-long loan for Mykhaylo Mudryk from Chelsea on deadline day.

There is a big question mark on whether Tottenham’s forward department has enough goals in it, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side yet to find the back of the net in their three league matches so far. Savio and Marmoush got into promising positions at times against Nottingham Forest but didn’t test their goalkeeper Matz Sels, while Mathys Tel endured a frustrating afternoon at the City Ground.

No surprises, the Lilywhites are now linked with another goalscorer.

Tottenham keeping tabs on Palmeiras forward

According to Polish outlet Sportowy, Tottenham are one of the few Premier League clubs closely monitoring Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque. Spurs, alongside Chelsea and Manchester United, are gathering information on the 21-year-old, who is valued at €60 million.

Acquired by Barcelona in 2024 for a substantial fee following a prolific spell at Athletico Paranaense, Vitor Roque struggled to settle down at Camp Nou. His underwhelming performances and lack of minutes led to a loan at Real Betis, and by early 2025, he had returned to Brazil to join Palmeiras.

The 21-year-old has restored his reputation with Palmeiras. Vitor Roque netted 16 goals and supplied three assists in 33 league appearances last season. An ankle injury has hampered his start to this campaign, yet the Brazilian forward has no shortage of suitors in England.

Contracted until December 2029, Palmeiras finds itself in a healthy negotiating position and does not have any urgency to sell its prized asset. Unless any suitor from the Premier League tests their resolve with a major bid, the expectation is that the young attacker stays with the Brazilian club now and continues developing.

Having sold the talented Will Lankshear to Middlesbrough in the summer, Spurs might be tempted to add a young striker to their ranks in January. Roque could be deemed an option, but there remains some scepticism regarding whether the former Barcelona man has got the physicality to sustain the hustle and bustle of Premier League football.
