The League Managers Association has formally crowned Tottenham’s seven-goal demolition at Selhurst Park as the finest display across English women’s football this past week.

The Lilywhites produced something special in south London on Sunday, and the wider football world has taken notice. Manager Martin Ho, his dedicated coaching staff, and the playing squad have scooped the League Managers Association Performance of the Week award. An independent expert panel carefully selected their dominant 7-0 victory over Crystal Palace as the standout showing across the professional pyramid.

This notable accolade marks the second time Ho has secured the honour since arriving in 2025. Spurs previously landed the weekly prize after an entertaining 7-3 win against Aston Villa at Villa Park in February. While that fixture was an open battle, this latest display showed complete tactical control from start to finish.

The North Londoners thoroughly dominated virtually every single metric in the capital derby. They controlled almost 72 percent of possession and registered an eye-catching 42 attempts on goal during an extraordinary ninety minutes. Palace simply could not cope with the relentless pressing and sharp movement orchestrated by Ho’s well-drilled side.

Relentless Second Half Blitz In South London

Everything clicked following the interval as Tottenham staged an attacking exhibition. Danish talent Olivia Holdt ran riot, bagging a superb second-half hat-trick to completely dismantle the shaken hosts. Her intelligent runs between the lines caused constant panic, giving the Palace backline no respite whatsoever during a breathless second period.

Summer recruits also delivered emphatically on the scoresheet. Dutch playmaker Victoria Pelova showcased great technical composure by netting two fine goals, while German forward Shekiera Martinez capped the rout with a sharp finish. Scoring seven unanswered goals away from home in the Women’s Super League sent a serious message to the division.

The N17 faithful will certainly hope this national recognition fuels another big display against Aston Villa this weekend. Ho has quickly forged an assertive, front-foot identity at Brisbane Road. Maintaining this high standard of ruthless execution will be absolutely vital as the ambitious squad targets major domestic ambitions this coming season.
