The head coach confirms a clean bill of health following the weekend victory and promises to field his strongest team during the upcoming cup tie.

The passionate N17 faithful are eagerly gearing up for another huge cup night as Tottenham travel south to face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Broadfield Stadium on Wednesday evening. This crucial fixture represents the second match in the Subway Players Cup league phase. It also marks a demanding stretch of three fixtures across just seven days. Following a recent penalty shootout defeat against West Ham and Sunday’s league victory, the squad must quickly reset.

Head coach Martin Ho delivered highly encouraging fitness news ahead of the 7.45 pm kickoff. Speaking directly to SPURSPLAY during his pre-match interview, the manager confirmed that every player involved in the triumph over Aston Villa should be fully fit for selection. The North Londoners prioritised essential recovery before returning to the training pitches.

“We have had a couple of sessions after Villa game,” Ho told official club media channels. “We needed to make sure we gave the players the opportunity to recover, and then we will get the availability report which, fingers crossed, there is no niggles from the game.”

The Manager Promises A Ruthless Approach In Crawley

Ho rotated nine players during the opening cup match against the Hammers. Although a league encounter against London City Lionesses arrives quickly on Sunday, the manager insisted he will not compromise on overall quality. The Lilywhites possess the determination and depth required to completely control their cup campaign tonight.

“I will always put the strongest team that will win the game,” the coach affirmed. “We have players and a really strong squad that can change the game if we need to make changes. I will make sure the team going out there realise the opportunity ahead.”

Behind the scenes, Jess Naz and Maite Oroz are finally participating in small sections of team training during their extended rehabilitation from anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Meanwhile, defender Clare Hunt continues progressing steadily through her individual recovery programme to return soon.
