Tottenham may have gotten cold feet in the title race but they enjoyed a much-needed break from training to have huge snowball fight ahead of the midweek Premier League fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Wembley stadium.
Despite being hard at work on the training ground in order to prepare for the clash with Chris Hughton’s Brighton, the Tottenham players still found time to show their playful side as they enjoyed each other’s company at their Enfield base.
Spurs sit 18 points behind the relentless Manchester City and are level on points with Burnley. Regardless of manager Mauricio Pochettino admitting his side are out of the title race, the players looked upbeat and morale seems to be flowing high following the 5-1 thrashing of Stoke City last weekend.
There was also time for a classic snowball fight as Mousa Dembele and Harry Winks launched a double snowball attack on Eric Dier. The trio was seen laughing as Winks launched a snowball in their direction before running the opposite way.
Welshman Ben Davies also was seen plotting a sly attack and was pictured throwing a snowball in the direction of his teammates. Right-back Kieran Trippier was pictured speaking to striker Harry Kane, while Heung-Min Son, Dembele and Dier were also involved in their share of fun and games.
But Spurs will be hoping not to get cold feet when they host Brighton on Wednesday. Twitter was filled with funny and surprising reactions from the fans after they saw their stars enjoy training in the snow ahead of the game. Here we bring you the best of tweets.
