Lucas Moura celebrates for Tottenham

Former Tottenham star Glenn Hoddle joked that the dramatic 1-1 draw against Barcelona was not good for his recovery from cardiac arrest.

The Englishman collapsed at the BT Sport studio nearly a couple of months ago on his 61st birthday and underwent surgery before coming home (h/t BBC Sport).

Lucas Moura got the equaliser for Spurs in the 85th minute but it looked like we were set to be knocked out of the Champions League after Inter Milan drew level with PSV Eindhoven in their respective game.

However, the Brazilian’s goal was enough to gain us a valuable point at the Nou Camp. The goal booked our place in the knockout round, something that Hoddle seemed to appreciate.

It will be interesting to see just who we could face in the round of 16 with some top clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich topping their groups.

Tottenham finished second in their group and will play one of the non-English group winners.

However, with the team surviving a tough Champions League group, and picking up the results when they needed them the most, Mauricio Pochettino’s men won’t fear anyone when the tournament returns.
