Tottenham fans don’t want Giovani Lo Celso to leave during the international break

Giovani Lo Celso was one of the best players in the La Liga last season. The Argentine starred for Real Betis and scored 14 goals in all competitions for the Spanish side.

Lo Celso’s performances earned him a move to Tottenham on loan with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

The 23-year-old was expected to star for Tottenham but he has been hampered by injuries.

Lo Celso has only played five games for us and all of them have been substitute appearances. The midfielder recently returned to action in the loss to Liverpool and even without starting a game for us, he has been called up by Argentina for the upcoming international break.

Fans concerned about another injury

The Argentine injured his hip the last time he featured for the national side, keeping him out for close to two months. It is a surprise that the South American giants have called up the Tottenham star despite his lack of minutes.

Juan Foyth has also missed several games this season due to an ankle problem and recently returned to first-team action. The defender has also been called up for the international break but hopefully, the pair will stay clear of any injuries.

Many Tottenham fans were concerned for Lo Celso as the Argentine has missed a lot of game time.

The supporters shared their frustrations over the selection and here are some of their reactions from Twitter.
