The North Londoners have identified Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek as the answer to their woes and have moved quickly to get their man.
The Polish striker is set to sign a 3-and-a-half-year contract and scheduled to complete a medical in the next 48 hours. Tottenham will pay a fee of £23.8m upfront and a further £4.2m through add-ons. (h/t Sun)
The 24-year-old joined Milan in 2018 and went on to be a success at the San Siro. He has had a rather underwhelming season this time around and has scored just 4 goals in 18 matches. (h/t Whoscored)
With Milan re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Piatek has been allowed to leave the club this month. Piatek made his debut for the Polish national team in 2018 in a 1-1 draw against the Republic of Ireland. He has scored 5 goals for his country.

Piatek is a classic No.9 who is effective in the box and can thrive as the focal point in the attack. He has previously named Harry Kane as his role model in an interview during his time at Genoa. He now has a chance to replace the player he looks up to and Tottenham would hope the striker has an immediate impact.
