With the Spurs squad needing an upheaval, Jose Mourinho has identified right-back as a key position to fill. With Danny Rose out injured and Kyle Walker-Peters set to go out on loan, Mourinho will only be left with Serge Aurier. The Ivorian has not been convincing enough.

Tottenham have been linked with a host of right-backs. The likes of Nelson Semedo, Nathan Ferguson and Jonjoe Kenny have all been linked with a move to Tottenham as Mourinho seeks to address the problematic position.

Norwich City’s Max Aarons looks to be the primary transfer target, with Daniel Levy likely to sanction a £15million move for the player.

Tottenham have been keeping tabs on Aaron who has impressed in the Premiership for the Canaries. The young defender has made 21 appearances for the club this season and has been an ever-present in the Norwich defence as the club looks to stave off relegation.

Mauricio Pochettino tried to sign the defender in the summer transfer window and now it looks like his successor Mourinho too is set to try the same.

The players’ contract at Norwich runs until 2024 and will not be allowed to leave on the cheap. Manager Daniel Farke has dismissed any chances of the player leaving this January. According to Daily Mail, it will take a bid of around £30million to tempt the Canaries to sell the player this month.
