Tottenham vs Fulham called off due to coronavirus outbreak in Cottagers squad
As reported by the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham has been called off after a number of people within the Cottagers squad tested positive for coronavirus.
Fulham saw a large number of players and staff test positive for the virus over the past few days. And as a result, both sides have now agreed the postpone the clash that was scheduled to kick off at 6 pm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, the Tottenham manager has received confirmation on the status of the match with it being called off now due to the outbreak.
This becomes the second Premier League game to be called off in a matter of days after we saw Manchester City’s clash against Everton got postponed due to increased positive cases in the former’s squad.

Sheffield United and Newcastle United have also struggled to control the virus in recent weeks. The Premier League revealed that 18 out of the 1479 tests carried out this week had come out positive – which is the largest number since Project Restart.
With the recent uprise in numbers, talks of a break in the league had been doing the rounds. However, that has been ruled out by the Premier League. It remains to be seen how the situation is handled, but for now, Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Fulham stands postponed.
