Harry Kane comes face-to-face with Daniel Levy as Tottenham Hotspur begin pre-season

Harry Kane is at the centre of attention in the summer transfer window as Bayern Munich continue their apparent pursuit of the Tottenham Hotspur superstar.

Bayer’s honorary president Uli Hoeness recently commented that Kane has already given his word to the German club that he will join them this summer. He also labelled Levy a ‘clever‘ negotiator.

The Bavarian club’s pursuit of the 29-year-old has become very public. They seemingly want him to fill the goal-scoring void left by Robert Lewandowski last summer when he joined Barcelona.

Amidst the sage, Kane travelled to Australia to take part in the club’s pre-season tour. They take on West Ham United tomorrow in a friendly (July 19).

Kane and Levy spotted together

During the preparations, Levy and Kane were spotted in the public eye together after a long time. A video posted by Sky Sports on their Twitter account showcases their interaction.

It seems no words were spoken by Levy, who was seemingly smiling and happy as he shook hands with the Spurs talisman. All good between the two, it seems.

It has been claimed that Kane will not repeat his 2021 antics to force a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It seems he is keeping an open mind about the situation.

Levy has been a tough negotiator during his time as Spurs’ chairman. He would certainly want to do what’s best for Tottenham and get in as much fee as possible for Kane, who is in the final year of his contract.
