Fabrizio Romano has revealed why Tottenham might not be able to get a former Barcelona defender in January
Tottenham might not be able to get their hands on former Barcelona defender reveals Fabrizio Romano. The Lilywhites are preparing to send a verbal bid for Genoa man Radu Dragusin as they hope to find a centre-back by next week.
The Spurs are desperate to get some new legs on the field. It was widely known that they only planned to pursue Jean-Clair Todibo for a week. Moreover, Genoa’s Romanian star was next in line on their list of priorities.
This change in plans has only occurred because it is now looking impossible to make a deal with OFC Nice by next week. Since the former Barcelona man can’t join as quickly as Dragusin, Tottenham will likely stop their pursuit of the 24-year-old.
Fans will be happy to know that Romano has already confirmed that Dragusin has agreed to join the Premier League side. It looks like the Tottenham Hotspur stadium will soon be featuring the likes of the Romanian defender.
However, fans are still hoping that the Lilywhites will somehow be able to work out deals for both the defenders. This would be a dream come true for the fans and a nightmare for all of the Spurs’ opponents.

Things are picking up right as we stand at the start of the transfer window. January is already amping up to be an exciting month. But the team cannot let up just yet. Tottenham will be taking on Bournemouth today in a game that Postecoglou absolutely must win.
