Tottenham Hotspur linked with AS Roma talisman Paulo Dybala in the winter transfer window

According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, Tottenham Hotspur are looking forward to the signature of the AS Roma talisman Paulo Dybala to help the team bolster the attacking frontiers. With a proper Harry Kane replacement still due, we think Dybala’s involvement can be massive since he is playing under our former manager Jose Mourinho.

A number of clubs, including Manchester United and Tottenham, have been said to be interested in signing the Argentine superstar in 2019. At the time, Dybala’s salary demands were too high for Spurs, and the transfer fell through.

Several European powerhouses have lowered their sights on Roma in an attempt to sign the gifted Argentine striker Paulo Dybala since his release clause has been lowered to €13 million. Competition to sign Dybala is heating up as the winter transfer window approaches.

Tottenham has joined the competition, as they need more attackers to improve their player changes. Dybala’s awesome flexibility lets him easily move from being a forward or striker in the 4-2-3-1 game system. This makes him very important for the group, especially when connected with other good players like Son, Kulusevski and Richarlison.

Valued at a modest €13 million for clubs outside of Italy, this clause provides Dybala with numerous options should the World Cup champion decide to leave during the middle of the season.

Ever since the intricate details of his contract were revealed, numerous elite clubs have been closely observing his progress in the Italian capital. His exceptional performance this season further amplifies the allure of his release clause. In just 12 Serie A games, Dybala has already netted four goals and provided six assists, solidifying his position as a key player in Roma’s quest for a top-four finish.

Richarlison is doing very well now, but because James Maddison can’t play, Tottenham needs a flexible player to step in for Son. Since Postecoglou became the coach, Spurs have made some smart player signings that really helped their chances of getting into European games.
