Tottenham Hotspur vie with Bayern Munich & Dortmund for Chris Führich

Tottenham Hotspur FC are looking to sign German midfielder Chris Führich in the upcoming summer transfer window, and the North Londoners will compete with multiple German giants to attain his signatures, per Sports Bild.

The Lilywhites are in dire need of a new midfielder this off-season as the club looks to build on the progress that Spurs have made under Ange Postecoglou’s tutelage last season. They will not only be looking to improve on the ceiling of the roster at the Australian’s disposal but also looking to add depth to the squad, ensuring they have the strength in numbers to compete effectively across all competitions.

Moreover, Tottenham will also be looking to replace the outgoing Giovanni Lo Celso and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, two depth adding midfielders who have been linked with moves away from the club.

The Premier League giants will have to fight with German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for his signatures. These are two cream clubs in the Bundesliga which makes it tricky for Spurs to land the 26-year-old maestro.

Kicker in a recent report acknowledged that the German midfielder is leaning towards joining Bayern Munich. The player when asked about Bayern rumors recently, he said: “I’m obviously happy about it and proud of it.”

He does have a contract with Stuttgart until 2028. However, there are expectations that he can depart if a offer around 25 to 30 million euros arrives owing to an exit clause in his deal.
