Ante Rebic could be sold this season, according to Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic, as reported by Sport 1 (h/t Metro).
The Croatian has been one of the stars for the national side as they prepare for the World Cup final against France and Tottenham have been linked with the attacker.
Rebic did score a wonderful goal against Argentina in the group stage and his stock has certainly risen, thanks to the tournament.
Bobic was happy at the progress of the player and the team, and was quoted by as saying:
“So far there are no offers available and we’re planning a steady season with Ante Rebic for the new season. Of course we know that a lot can happen when a big club makes an offer.”
The sporting director also added that it would be tough to battle with the big guns in football.
“We cannot compete economically with the big ones, but that’s nothing new.”
The 24-year-old scored 9 goals and provided 2 assists for Frankfurt last season and was the man of the match in the DFB Pokal final against Bayern Munich, where he scored a brace.
Rebic does seem like someone who has a bit of an edge in his game and even though he is not consistent in the final third, he would be a decent player to have in the team.

However, if Croatia do well and win the World Cup, there could be a number of teams looking to sign him up and that would only drive his asking price higher.
