Tottenham Hotspur have settled in well under new head coach Thomas Frank and been busy in the transfer window this summer.
Two loanees from last season, Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel, made their loan moves permanent from RC Lens and Bayern Munich, respectively at the start of the summer transfer window. Thomas Frank has also bolstered the defensive unit with the signing of highly-rated Japanese prospect Kota Takai from Kawasaki Frontale, whilst Luka Vuskovic officially arrived at N17 in July after Spurs had agreed a deal to sign him from Hajduk Split in the summer of 2023.
Mohammed Kudus was the club’s first marquee signing of the summer transfer window, arriving from London counterparts West Ham United. The Ghanaian international has made a swift impact at Spurs with his flair, dribbling, energy and work ethic. Joao Palhinha has arrived on loan from Bayern Munich to fortify the midfield that was overrun on multiple occasions last season. The Portuguese has seamlessly slotted in Thomas Frank’s system, essaying his role as a destroyer to good effect.

Meanwhile, Frank’s hunt for a No.10 finally came to an end as well. After the heartbreaks of missing out on Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze, Spurs landed the highly-regarded Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. The Netherlands international, who has been handed the No.7 shirt vacated by Son, will make his debut for the Lilywhites after the international break. The incomings for the first team were given a final push on deadline day as Daniel Levy signed off by bringing in Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, made his move to the Ligue 1 side permanent earlier in the window. Others to be sold include Bryan Gil and Josh Keeley.
