Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that the early closure of the transfer window will not help Tottenham but he says he will try to make the best of the situation at hand.
Tottenham are one of the few sides in the Premier League who have not brought in players yet and the manager was quoted by the Evening Standard as saying,
“It’s not just players in, it is players out too.”
The Spurs manager, however, was not concerned with the short time span the club have in order to work and added that he does not panic in football.
“The deadline day is so early compared to the rest of Europe, which is not going to help a team like us, but that is what has been decided. That is why we must make the best decision for us.
“I am not panicking. I don’t panic in football. I panic for different reasons in life, but not football.”
Pochettino also spoke about how the club is working hard to make the best of the situation and said that he does not want to complain about the situation.
The Argentine claimed that success for Spurs meant winning titles and that is the aim for the coming season.
“We need to work hard to win as the real success is to touch the glory, lift trophies. We need to keep the hunger, keep the vision, win games together and be a solid team.”

We have been incredible under Pochettino and our next step has to be winning trophies. We have come close in the last two years under the Argentine and should we make a couple of quality purchases in the summer, we could be set for a fantastic season.
