A much changed and youthful Tottenham side defeated AC Milan 1-0 in the International Champions Cup. Georges-Kevin N’koudou scored the only goal of the game in the 47th minute with a number of youth players given their first starts under Mauricio Pochettino.
Oliver Skipp, George Marsh and Ty Eyoma were a few youngsters on display while Michel Vorm had to make a decent save to stop Patrick Cutrone’s header.
N’koudou scored early in the second half as he rifled a shot into the roof of the net and our other keeper Paulo Gazzaniga had to be on his toes as he kept us in the lead.
There were a number of changes that took place for both sides in the second half which killed the flow of the game. However, this was a decent workout for our side as we look to start the season on a bright note.
Pochettino would have been pleased with the result and the fans too were quick to share their reactions to the game.
