Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose could leave the club this summer for a European club but centre-back Toby Alderweireld is set to stay put in North London, reports the Evening Standard.
Rose, 28, returned to the Tottenham squad that beat Fulham 3-1 at Wembley last weekend, but the north Londoners will consider any new offers for the England international before the transfer window closes at the end of this month. Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be happy with Ben Davies and Kyle Walker-Peters as his left-backs for the season, claims the Evening Standard.
Toby Alderweireld, meanwhile, also returned to the squad against Fulham and is now expected to stay at our club after a rock-solid performance at the back last Saturday. The Belgian centre-back was heavily linked with a move away from our club in the summer transfer window after refusing to sign a new contract but for now, Tottenham are not selling him, the report adds.
While Alderweireld’s stay will be music to Spurs fans, selling Rose will represent a massive gamble from Pochettino. Rose has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League. Injuries have stalled his development a bit but when fully fit, Rose is a top player to have in the squad.

Ben Davies is fantastic too and it would be great to have both Rose and Ben in the team. So it clearly makes me wonder if selling Rose would be wise this summer, particularly when the stakes are so high.
