Tottenham Hotspur dropped their first points of the season with a disappointing 2-1 loss at Watford. Both sides came into the game with a 100% win record but only a win would have ensured we kept pace with Chelsea and Liverpool.
Dele Alli had a decent chance in the first half but Harry Kane didn’t have the best of afternoons at Vicarage Road.
We shot into the lead in the second half, thanks to an own goal from Abdoulaye Doucoure, before Troy Deeney levelled in the 69th minute. Craig Cathcart headed the winner in the 76th minute and we just could not get an equalizer.
The loss certainly is a bit of a kick in the gut as we came off a brilliant 3-0 win over Manchester United last week.
A number of Spurs fans were upset and they shared their frustrations regarding the loss.
Win 3-0 at Old Trafford then lose to Watford next game. Peak spurs

Why change a winning team?
Rose and Dier should be gutted they didn’t play that— . (@AIdertonghen) September 2, 2018
Shows the mentality and bottle of this team. Never winning the league. How do we beat Utd but still make such a drastic change in tactics and formation. The back 3 doesn’t work, we were poor Vs Fulham with it. And poor today

Why change something that’s not broken.
