Tottenham were a little busy on the last day of the transfer window as a number of starlets left the club on loan deals.
Josh Onomah was one of the more well-known youngsters leaving the side as he joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Aston Villa and helped them reach the Championship playoff final.
Onomah played 13 Premier League games for us across the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, while racking up 32 appearances for Spurs in total.
The midfielder could have received opportunities in a few games for us this season. However, his chances of playing regular football are greater at Wednesday.
A few Spurs fans, however, believed we should have retained the talented youngster and shared their opinions on Twitter.
Should’ve kept him probably

This pisses me off so much. He has so much talent and could be a great player for central midfield where we’re lacking immensely

All the best Josh!

Should have kept him at spurs

Not sure how I feel… good for him to get all but guaranteed minuets but I was hoping he could start to break through this season

Why
— Jed (@jedthfc_) August 31, 2018
Should actually give him a run in the 1st team.

Couldn’t we have sent Sissoko and kept Josh?

Go and smash it lad

We will probably need him later in the season tbh
