Tottenham are interested in signing Ajax youngster David Neres in the winter window, according to the Express.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form for the Dutch side and scored 14 times and provided 11 assists in the league last season.
Neres prefers to play as a right-winger but has played as an attacking midfielder too. The Brazilian is rated at close to £45million (h/t Express) and is set to leave the club, as per the report.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund have all watched the 21-year-old this season, as per the Express.
Tottenham have a history of doing well with youngsters under Mauricio Pochettino. Furthermore, we have signed a number of players from Ajax in recent years.
Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen have been brilliant for us since joining from the Dutch giants.
Neres could provide us with a lot of quality down the right and cover for our attackers. Moving to Spurs will help him grow and develop under one of the best managers in the world. However, it will be interesting to see if we are willing to stump up a huge amount for the talent.

Tottenham didn’t sign a single player in the summer window and it will be surprising if we don’t add to the squad in the winter window.
