Fiorentina plan contract extension for Tottenham-linked Riccardo Sottil
Riccardo Sottil has been on the rise with Serie A’s Fiorentina, and Tottenham have been linked with the Italian (h/t Calciomercato). The 20-year-old has played in four games this season for La Viola and is highly regarded in Italy.
The youngster only joined the Italians in 2018 but SportMediaset (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Fiorentina
Sottil can play on either wing but is capable of playing as the central striker too. Tottenham bought young players in the summer and it will be interesting to see if we make a move for the Italian.
The 20-year-old would provide options for Mauricio Pochettino in the attack, and could turn out to be a smart signing for the future. However, Tottenham have another young attacker in their ranks, who is struggling to get regular minutes.
Jack Clarke’s problems at Leeds
Jack Clarke was one of the brightest talents in the Championship but his loan to Leeds hasn’t worked out.
The youngster hasn’t featured in any league game this season and it will be interesting to see if we recall the 18-year-old in the winter window.
