Tottenham concerned that Harry Kane could push for exit in the summer
Tottenham are concerned that Harry Kane could push for a summer exit after a string of poor performances, according to The Times (h/t Mirror).
The report claims that Kane is left frustrated after the start to the season, and the latest poor showing was against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
We conceded seven goals at home for the first time in our history and have also been beaten by Newcastle United and Leicester City.
Colchester United dumped us out of the Carabao Cup on penalties and the FA Cup could be our best chance of landing a trophy.
Kane is possibly the best striker in the world, however, he is yet to win a trophy during his career at the club. Mauricio Pochettino is also under pressure and it will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming months.
Tottenham cannot afford to lose Kane
The England captain has been one of our most consistent players and has regularly topped the scoring charts.
Losing him would be a huge blow as there are several players who are free agents at the end of the season.
Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld can also leave for free, and losing four world-class players would weaken the team.

Tottenham can still salvage the season with a good run in the Champions League and the Premier League but time is running out for Pochettino and the players to achieve that.
