Tottenham interested in Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen
According to the Sunderland Echo (h/t The Sun), Jose Mourinho is a fan of Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.
It was previously reported that Mauricio Pochettino had sent scouts out to watch Bowen (h/t The Sun) and it looks like his successor too is keen on bringing the flying winger to North London.
Hull are reluctant to part with the player who has notched up 16 goals in 23 appearances this season and are likely to command a fee upwards of £20million for the player.
Although Bowen’s contract runs out in June 2020, Hull have an option of extending the contract by a year, to 2021, an option they are likely to pursue if they do not get what they deem a fair offer for the player.
Having joined Hull in 2014, Bowen has gone on to score 53 goals in 122 appearances for the Tigers. A left-footed player, he predominantly plays on the left-wing and has an eye for goal, notching up impressive numbers for a winger.
He has been in good form this season and his recent run of 7 goals in 6 games have seen him win the EFL Championship player of the month for November.
Newcastle the favourites?
Newcastle United are also interested in Bowen, with Steve Bruce having managed the player at Hull. Apart from working under a familiar manager who is aware of his strengths, Newcastle can also provide Bowen regular game time, which may not be the case at Spurs.

We do, however, offer European football and the chance to grow under one of the best managers in the world in Jose Mourinho.
If he signs for us, Bowen may be rotated but if he keeps on improving as he has done, there is no reason to suspect he won’t make the position his own.
