Graham Potter favourite to be next Tottenham manager
According to Brighton&Hove Independent, Graham Potter has been deemed as the favourite to be the next Tottenham manager. The Brighton boss is among the shortlisted managers who are likely to take over in North London next season.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new manager after Jose Mourinho was sacked by the club last month. The Portuguese, who will be joining AS Roma at the start of next season, lasted just 17 months at the helm before being axed.
Former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason has taken over as interim boss until the end of the season as the club searches for a suitable full-time replacement. And Potter’s name is one that has come up in conversations a lot.
Potter has been labelled as the favourite to take over the job come next season. With the likes of Julian Nagelsmann heading to Bayern Munich, Spurs have been forced to look elsewhere. The names of Rafa Benitez, Scott Parker and Brendan Rodgers have been doing the rounds too. While it was earlier reported that Simone Inzaghi was the frontrunner for the job, Potter is actually the one who is ahead.

Graham Potter has done a fine job at Brighton, even though their position in the table might suggest otherwise. The 45-year-old has gotten the team playing an attacking, attractive brand of football while doing so on a meagre budget. He would be someone worth taking a punt on for Tottenham.
