Tottenham captain Ledley King made his return to action in a behind closed doors friendly against West Ham midweek.
In a squad consisting mainly of youngsters returning from loan spells after the football league season ended, King and fellow centre back Sebastien Bassong were the only two senior squad players to participate in a game where Spurs came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
It is the first action since the 2-1 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage back in October and, after coming through the match unscathed for the full 90 minutes, is likely to be avalable for selection for the remaining fixtures against Liverpool on Sunday and Birmingham City on May 22nd.
