Luka Modric’s advisor, Mario Mamic, doubts the Tottenham midfielder will be leaving White Hart Lane the summer.
The former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder has been linked with a move to Manchester United in order to fill the vacant midfield spot left by the recently retired Paul Scholes.
However Mamic believes his client will remain faithful to Spurs especially with the club’s board unwilling to sell the Spurs Player of the Year.
“Luka will not go to Manchester United and he will also stay at Tottenham because I know that president Deniel Levy will not let him go,” he told Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.
“I heard that somebody has offered £20m pounds for Luka but that’s crazy.
“When we talk about Modric, that price would only be enough to buy peanuts.”
Manager Harry Redknapp echoed his sentiments claiming “We’re not selling Luka Modric.
“£20 million for Luka? They’ve got to be dreaming, he’s such a fantastic player.
“You know, we’ve enquired about players and we’re getting quoted more than that for people that couldn’t lace his boots, so it’s not a go-er.”
