Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan has dismissed speculation that he is set for a move to Tottenham.
The Ghanian international has been mooted as a possible make-weight in a possible transfer that could see Peter Crouch move to the Stadium of Light.
However, Gyan has insisted he is happy with the Black Cats and has no plans to move this summer.
“I am not aware of any contact from Spurs, I have a contract with Sunderland. At the moment it is rumours,” he told skysports.com.
“I was in London three weeks ago for an award in London with my good friend John Pantsil, not for a meeting with Spurs.”
Gyan has scored an impressive 11 goals and 33 appearances since his £13m move to Sunderland last summer.
