Tottenham midfielder Niko Krancjar is willing to wait on the outcome of the Luka Modric saga.
The 26-year-old was supposedly on his wait out of White Hart Lane this summer after making only two Premier League starts last season.
Dynamo Kiev reportedly failed to bring him to Ukraine while reports suggested Italian side Firoentina were close to bringing him to Stadio Artemio Franchi.
However, with compatriot Modric’s future surrounded in a cloud of doubt, there is now a chance that the Croatian international could stay with Spurs to stake his claim for a starting spot.
“I’m quite calm about the situation at the moment but of course it will be nice to see how things will end,” he told Sportske Novosti.
“This summer’s transfer window will be one of the most interesting moments in my career.
“But one thing is certain, if Tottenham sell Luka Modric, I will stay. However, if Luka stays, I will probably be loaned out somewhere.”
Spurs were willing to allow the former Portsmouth midfielder move on if they received a bid of around £12m for the player.
