Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul has backed Manchester City to have a successful season this year.
Kaboul has played both of Spurs’ opening Premier League enocunters, the 3-0 defeat to Manchester United and the 5-1 defeat suffered at the hands of City a week later.
And the Frenchman believes it will be the blue half of Manchester that will be celebrating come May next year.
“We played two big teams for our first two matches in the Premier League,” Kaboul told France Football.
“It was very difficult, above all the last match against City. I even found City more impressive than Manchester United. I felt more difficulties against them at home than I did at Old Trafford.”
The 25-year-old also believes that Roberto Mancini’s side has the ability to mirror Arsenal’s invincible season back in the 03/04 season.
“City can be a great success. I could even imagine them achieving the same run as Arsenal, when the Gunners were champions and remained undefeated all season long,” he added.
“Indeed, I could bet some money on that team for the title.”
