Tottenham, AC Milan and Rubin Kazan have all been linked with a move for Sevilla front-man Alvaro Negredo, according to reports this morning.
The Spanish star has been in fine form for the Andalusian side this season, hitting three goals in five La Liga games so far and has forced himself into the national squad, being preferred to Chelsea strike Fernando Torres in the Spain squad.
AC Milan are said to be willing to offer around £12m, according to Tuttosport, but Sevilla aren’t ready to cash in on the 26-year-old during the season.
This could leave Spurs in pole position for Negredo, with the North London outfit willing to wait until the end of the current campaign before matching the clubs valuation of £15m for the former Real Madrid man.
Some reports suggest that Giovani Dos Santos may even be used as a makeweight in any bid for Negredo, with the pint-sized Mexican close to joining the La Liga outfit in August, before Spurs pulled the plug on his move at the last minute.
