Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul has revealed he rejected a move to big spending Paris St. Germain over the summer.
The French international has found himself as the clubs number one centre-back during his second stint with the North London side and his performances haven’t gone un-noticed.
Marseille were heavily linked with a move for the former Auxerre defender during the transfer window for the 25-year-old, who recently received his first senior cap for France.
However, despite being a fan of the French capital club, he admits he is focused on his Spurs career but refused to rule out a move back to France in the future.
“I am happy at Spurs but I don’t rule out a return to France before the end of my career,” Kaboul told RMC Sports.
“I could have joined PSG in the summer but preferred the stability of Tottenham.
“I am a PSG fan and I watch the matches on TV.
“I adored the club as a kid and I hope they reach the Champions League next season.”
It remains to be seen whether or not PSG will return with an improved offer in January.
