Chelsea vs Tottenham: Match Preview
It is not every season when Tottenham are actually above both Chelsea and Arsenal but this season has seen the White side of London dominate the Premier League. Spurs look set to continue their pursuit of Leicester, even if the chances of winning the league have all but faded away.
Chelsea also do not have much to play for but the players could be looking to show what they are capable off to new manager Antonio Conte, who will take over from Guus Hiddink at the start of next season.
Spurs are seven points behind Leicester City and they know anything less than a win would mean the end of their title chances, they should still be happy with how the season has gone and will be looking forward to some Champions League football next season.
The last time these two sides met, it ended in a boring 0-0 draw and for the sake of the neutrals, let us hope it will be a better game this time around at the Bridge.
Team news
Chelsea do have a few doubts regarding their defence with the likes of Gary Cahill and John Terry major absentees from the team. Cahill could still make it to the XI if he recovers from his illness while Kurt Zouma and Terry seem to miss out on this game. Thibaut Courtois still is suspended and will not feature for the side.
Tottenham do not have any new injuries to worry about but they will miss out on the services of Dele Alli. The youngster was suspended for his punch at Claudio Yacob. Nabil Bentaleb is still injured for his side and will miss the game at Stamford Bridge.
