Vincent Janssen

The 2016-17 season is going to be one of the best ever with all the new managers and also with the influx of World class players arriving into the league. West Ham are bidding for every other striker in Europe while Crystal Palace are spending £30million on Christian Benteke. The likes of Ibrahimovic will ply their trade in England which will make him the highest paid player in the league whereas United are also plotting a £100 million bid for Paul Pogba which all in all guarantees a crazy season ahead. The craziest thing this summer has been the contact made by the FA to appoint Sam Allardyce as the next England which is just plain bizarre.

In this crazy summer time, Spurs are going on about their business rather smartly and are working to sign the players needed quickly before the start of the new season. Signing Victor Wanyama from Southampton can prove to be a huge boost for Spurs as with Wanyama’s arrival, the midfield looks sorted for Pochettino as he gears up for one of the most important seasons for Spurs in the recent history. Vincent Janssen is on his way to the lane and let us look at three more signings that will complete a perfect summer transfer period for Spurs:

1. Mario Gotze:

A tussle is underway between Dortmund and Spurs to sign the wantaway Bayern star and World Cup Winner, Mario Gotze who if arrives at the Lane, will make a statement to the rivals and will be a marquee signing for Pochettino. Gotze fits in perfectly in the Spurs side and can form a fine partnership with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli. Gotze is a world class talent and his signing can prove to be the catalyst for success under Pochettino.

2.Georginio Wijnaldum:

The Dutch star has been one of the shining lights for the Magpies in their disastrous last campaign and Wijnaldum is being linked with a move to London but the asking price set by the club is said to be £25 million which seems to be a bit on a higher side for the Dutchman. But, he is a fine talent and has proved that he is useful in the Premier League and if the manager decides to offload the likes of Tom Carrol and Ryan Mason, Spurs can sign the Newcastle midfielder which will make the side competitive in Europe and in England.

3. Alexander Lacazette:

The Lyon striker is in demand this summer and Spurs are looking extensively for a striker and the club’s search should not stop at Janssen as with Kane, Janssen and Lacazette who wants to move to a Champions League club, Spurs can have one of the most potent attack in the league. His asking price is high but Spurs need to spend big if they want big dividends and Lacazette guarantees goals and will bring out the best from Harry Kane.
