The inexperienced Tottenham squad faced a narrow 2-1 defeat from the Italian giants Juventus, who are doing wonders in the current transfer window. Spurs, who left their star men like Kane and Dier did really well against the team, who had the like of Dybala and Pjanic. A defensive howler from Dominic Ball lead to Juventus’ first goal of the game, following the headed goal from the newly signed defender Mehdi Benatia.

The Lilly-Whites responded in the second half of the game as Lamela got his team right into the game by a cheeky finish, but the game finished in the favour of the Old Lady. Now, after this narrow defeat, the side will now face last season’s Champions League finalist Atletico Madrid at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 29th of July. This is surely going to be a great game for the spectators, and we hope to see the Lilly-Whites coming back on track with a win.

So, here we give you a predicted lineup for Tottenham Hotspur, that could face the Rojiblancos on 29th of July:

Goalkeeper: Luke McGee-

The 21-year-old English shot stopper Luke McGee might be a top choice for the Argentine manager for the upcoming fixture as Michel Vorm, who played against Juventus, didn’t look very convincing in front of the goal.

Defence: Yedlin; Carter-Vickers; Wimmer; Miller-

The 23-year-old USA defender, who recently returned to the side after ending his loan spell with Sunderland, was introduced in the second half in the last game against Juventus and he completely changed the course of the game with his extremely physical approach.

On the other hand, the centre back pairing might be of Kevin Wimmer, the 23-year-old Austrian centre back, and Cameron Carter-Vickers. Dominic Ball, whose mistake cost the team a goal inside the first 10 minutes against Juventus might be dropped this time and more senior figure might be introduced.

At the left back area, Pochettino might again use Will Miller, who gave a great impression in the last game.

Holding midfielder: Wanyama; Harry Winks-

The new signing Victor Wanyama played a great game against Juventus last time out and it was his work, due to which, the Lilly Whites got a goal back. The former Southampton man was a solid presence for the side, who equally contributed in every department of the game. Along with the Kenyan, the manager might use 20-year-old Harry Winks, who is expected to get his Premier League debut in the upcoming season.

Attacking Trio: Lamela; Edward; Onomah-

The Argentine international Erik Lamela will be the most senior figure in the lineup, hence, he will be given the job to dictate the game from his usual position. While he will be trying from the right flank, the manager might use the 20-year-old English midfielder Josh Onomah on the other flank. With these two operating from the flanks, the 17-year-old Marcus Edwards will command the midfield as an attacking midfielder.

Striker: Vincent Janssen-

The 22-year-old Dutch international didn’t look very convincing last time out, but will be looking forward to make a positive impact against the Spanish giants, and with no concrete option available, the manager might use the player yet again.
