It was earlier reported that the Italian giants Juventus were targeting the Danish professional, but eventually, they went for Miralem Pjanic. The 24-year-old, who has scored 30 goals in three seasons with the club, is unarguably one of the finest players for the team.
Even during his time with the Dutch side Ajax, the game revolved around him all the time, and if the Dan refused to sign a contract with the Lilly Whites, the team might face the risk of losing him in the long run.
