Tottenham provided the perfect response after their 2-1 loss against Chelsea in the London derby last week. While the Lilywhites did put up a great effort against Antonio Conte’s men, they couldn’t get one point from their visit to Stamford Bridge.
Swansea did come into the game with a victory under their belt as they won 5-4 against Crystal Palace last time around but the Welsh side were taken apart quite easily by Spurs. Mauricio Pochettino’s men pumped five past their opponents with Harry Kane scoring a brace and Son Heung-Min also scoring a goal between the Kane brace.
Christian Eriksen also got on the scoresheet as he pumped in a couple to finish off the scoring. The win saw Spurs remain in fifth place with 27 points and it keeps their hopes of making the Champions League next season via the top four.
The win was just the second one for the London side in their last 11 games and here are some of the best Twitter updates regarding the win.
