Tottenham are really making strides! Their stadium plans are going on full-throttle and they have been tying their players to new contracts with the club.
Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli, Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier and Christian Eriksen have all signed contract extension with the club this season and the man joining this long list of players is Ben Davies.
Ben Davies has featured regularly for Tottenham this season, after the injury to Danny Rose. Though he struggled initially, he has made himself at home playing for Tottenham XI and thoroughly deserves to receive improved terms from the club.
It is now clear that Tottenham are keen to hold on to their talented bunch of players as it will be really difficult to plunge into the transfer market once the stadium construction is complete.
The best thing to do would be to keep hold of their current bunch of players and it looks like that is exactly what they are doing.
According to The Sun, the 23-year old has signed a contract worth £60,000-a-week and it runs until 2021.

The defender also posted in his social media saying,
“It’s a fantastic Club to be a part of at the moment and the way we’re playing the game you can only see it getting better, really. If you’d said this before the start of my career I would probably have been in shock, I wouldn’t have believed it. Since the gaffer came to the club he has taken us from strength to strength and as a team I think it’s showing on the pitch.”

It looks like it is a good decision from Tottenham to hold on to a young and talented player like Ben Davies. The fact that the players are agreeing to sign new contracts with the club only shows that the environment within the club is positive and the players know that there is a good project in place.
Day by day, it looks increasingly likely that Tottenham are on the right track to overtake the likes of Arsenal, who have for long kept Spurs under their shadow.
However, it now seems like the sun is rising on Tottenham’s side and days are not far away when the rising sun begins to shine bright.
