The transfer of Moussa Sissoko to Tottenham from Newcastle at the start of the season raised many eyebrows from both sides of the deal. While Newcastle fans could not believe that Spurs paid £30 million for the French international, Spurs fans were equally stunned as to why the club paid that fee for the player.

Sissoko didn’t really have a great season for the relegated side and moving just after Euro 2016, it seemed that he would carry his great form from the international tournament but that has not transpired for the side.

It isn’t a surprise that rumours are stating the club would be willing to let go of the player and Sissoko was even linked with a swap deal for Ross Barkley in the winter window. The Frenchman has only made six Premier League starts this season and has been poor most of the times.

Tottenham fans were not happy about the signing then and they have let out their frustration about the player on Twitter. It will be interesting to see just where Sissoko could end up going but based on these tweets, he shouldn’t even be close to London.
