Tottenham fans have a big news to rejoice about. Reliable journalist Ben Dinnery has revealed that Spurs superstar Harry Kane could return to action in a month’s time to help his team salvage something from this season.
Injury analyst Ben Dinnery, who works for Sky Sports, told a fan on his personal Twitter account that Pochettino was hopeful Kane would only be out for a month after the striker picked up the injury. This would see Kane return ahead of Spurs’ clash against Bournemouth on April 15, but Dinnery did state that there are “no guarantees” over when Kane would return.
Harry Kane suffered an ankle injury in the FA Cup quarterfinal clash against Millwall, where Spurs eventually won 6-0, courtesy of Son Heung-Min’s hat-trick.
Kane collided with Millwall defender Jake Cooper when he came rushing to tackle for the ball. The striker had his ankle rolled over and was taken off minutes later. He was substituted by Christian Eriksen and Spurs never looked back from then on, making the contest a complete one-way traffic.
The Englishman left the pitch after just 10 minutes and was found leaving the stadium in crutches. It was a worrying sight for the Tottenham faithful to watch their beloved striker struggle his way out.
@BenDinnery Good morning Ben, how soon could we see Kane back with the Spurs?

Still no definitive timeline currently. Pochettino was hoping for a return within a month. No guarantees though. https://t.co/hUtFbEfii8

Kane’s injury saw the striker miss England’s fixtures against Germany and Lithuania last week, as well as remaining absent for Spurs’ 2-1 win over Southampton prior to the international break. Spurs secured a 2-1 victory over Claude Puel’s Saints, with goals coming from midfielders Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
It remains to be seen when Kane will return to full fitness. It is expected that South Korea international Son will continue in Kane’s place in Spurs’ next game too, which is against Burnley on Saturday.
Burnley have been brilliant at home, losing only three games all season long. It will be difficult for Tottenham to go into this game without their top scorer.
Harry Kane has scored 24 goals in 29 appearances for Spurs this season and has also registered 4 assists. Though he missed a significant number of games at the start of the season, Kane did well to find his goal scoring touch right after making his comeback. Just when he was in the driver’s seat for the Golden Boot award, the latest injury happened. How unfortunate!
